The total thickness of 6.4mm is ideal as it results in both fast heat disturibution and optimal heat retention. For maximum durablity, the walls of SCANPAN IMPACT are made from 18/10 stainless steel protector, which ensures the cookware is suitable for all enery sources, including induction. The handles of Scanan Impact are cast stainless steel and are attached to the cookware with internal stainless steel rivets for permanent bonding to the pan. The handles are designed to stay cool longer. The rim is designed to eliminate annoying drips when pouring, and the internal capacity markings result in fast measuring and ease of use. The tempered glass lids makes cooking more practical, as you can see how the food is cooking without lifting the lid.
